Ilfracombe Railway Station, Queensland.

Good Morning,

Today is Sunday the 24th of February, 2019.

This is a write up about the Ilfracombe Railway Station, which is 27 kms from Longreach in Out back Queensland. There are actually two Stations, an old one and a new one.

This is the town with the Machinery Mile, very interesting and very old, lots of Australian History.

It has a great Caravan Park, which My Partner an I have stayed at twice.

In the early days the town had it's own Wool Scour.

The Spirit of the Outback stops there if required to pick up or put down Passengers.

You can use the town as your base and travel to places like Blackall, Yaraka, Isisford, Barcaldine, Aramac and Muttaburra
